WOW, Hello!

First and foremost, THANK YOU to every single one of you praying. There is nothing more incredible to hear than that we are being prayed for. Thank you for joining our bold prayers over the community on the mountain. Thank you for your loving prayers over my squad, team, and myself. God is answering prayers!!!

Update on Spiritual Warfare:

Through sharing and your prayers lifting me up to our Father, the enemy's schemes were immensely lessened, or I was much more protected, or both, during the second half of my time on the mountain. I have no doubt he's still trying to attack, but I was able to have much more peaceful sleep, thoughts, and no disturbance in my prayers and worship. I felt more deeply called than ever before in my life to step further into intercession, so that was my consistent underlying focus - while shoveling, eating, laying in my tent, worshipping, etc., saturating this community and mountain as a whole in prayer was where the Lord had my heart, mind, and spirit.

Updates on the women in the community:

We hosted a women's day for 40+ women where we organized and participated alongside them in a field day. Then, one of my squadmates taught a Bible lesson, we worshipped, then we washed their feet, gave them pedicures, and cooked for them. We finished the night by delivering 40+ fundraised Bibles (some in Spanish and some bilingual) that we had previously highlighted and written notes in to them (sweet moments featured in the video below). All day the Honduran women were not to touch a dish - we served and cleaned their dishes. It was one of the most beautiful days I've been a part of. The women's personalities shined and relationships were deepened. I was asked to head up interceding all day long for the event. I asked some fellow squadmates to pray during certain parts of the day. It was a powerful thing to know each part was soaked in prayer - even the field day events! It was so fun and our heart was to speak truth, life, and, in our actions, show the women they have immense value in the Kingdom just as they are.

We did some home visits that I will share more about in another blog!

Updates on Construction:

We thought heading into our time in Honduras that we would see the church done by the time we left - HA!!! Continually laying down expectations over here :) We re-leveled the foundation so many times I can hardly count. The architectural plans changed a bunch so we ended up extending the foundation into the mountain further and further - each time bringing more dirt onto the foundation we had just leveled, requiring us to re-level. Although there is only the beginnings of the actual church building, I could not be more thankful and proud of what we got to be a part of. The amount of man hours put into digging out and leveling 3 levels with barriers into the side of the mountain is shocking. Building the church and Women's Ministry & Education center will be the easy part! I am excited to keep tabs on when the church and training center will be completed and see the final buildings in all their glory!

There's so much to share of what the Lord did in the short time we lived on that jungly mountainside in Honduras. This compiled video of the second half of our time spent there is my favorite video I have made yet. I hope you praise God with me, laugh with/at me (I invite you to), and gain a deeper understanding of what life has looked like for us the last two months. NONE of this is possible without your prayers and support. I can not say thank you enough for lifting your powerful prayers up to our Father!!

Without further adieu, here's the last recap video of Honduras!

LOVE YOU GUYS! Keep on praying - God is answering! In immediate and slow, eternal ways! Thank you for partnering with me!!

Your girl,

Sierra :)
