Next up, Honduras! (I’ll be there tomorrow)

We will be tenting with our whole squad on the side of a mountain in the jungle in Honduras.

Two months of bucket showers, living in a tent, no electricity, and doing a lot of manual labor is ahead… and I’m excited!

I’m excited because God isn’t done teaching me and I’m not done learning. I will be stretched, grown, and humbled to new levels and, in my experience, He likes to meet me in that.

We won’t have WiFi or service when in Honduras, so I won’t be able to communicate with anyone outside of my squad until July! (We get one weekend as a mini-debrief at the end of May, but who knows if there will be reliable wifi, so instead of hedging my bets, I’ll play it safe and say you can expect to hear from me again in two months).

Catracho Missions is the ministry we will be serving under as we will help build clay ovens, build a road for the community and villagers, start the bases of a new church building a missionary training base and evangelize. Please continue to pray for me and my squad!

Excited to send an update when I can and will be praying for y’all in the meantime!

Your girl,

Sierra

  1. YOU are a beautiful representation of the hands and feet of Jesus to the nations!! Thank you for giving us just a glimpse of the work He is doing in the lives of those you are ministering to. Praying over you, your team and the hearts of the Honduran people as you begin this new ministry in your journey. May the Holy Spirit’s voice be louder than any other in your heart, soul and minds as He leads all those around you to their Savior and Creator.
Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy, to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore, AMEN!
    Love you girl =)

  2. Sierra, your presence was missed atone Mother’s Day gathering…however, only vaccinated and “in-country” people were invited.

????????????With you on the next phase of your Godly mission: even in the altitude (13,500 ft) if Bolivia we had electricity, concrete floors and a relatively secure roof over our heads. I cannot imagine two MONTHS in a mountain-side tent. We only endured two weeks under, what is in comparison, luxury accomations, for two weeks! I know the spirit of the Lord is with you and your mission. Can’t wait until late July to have a visual/verbal update! I also know you and your team are “keeping the faith. Love and many ????????????????????, Nene??

  3. AMEN!! Thank you so much for your prayers over all of us! They are powerful and effective!!

  4. Nene, I love you so much! Mountain living has been QUITE unique! I will be posting a video soon of it all! SO thankful for your presence and support always
